Is tackle getting too expensive

Actually when you're in your 70s lifting a full box into the boot does put an awful lot of strain on your back. I can unclip some draws from my Octbox to do it and re-clip them back afterwards, but I have to say a really light box would be tempting to me as it could eventually be the difference between me continuing to match fish and having to give up. Similarly, I need a back on my box - a younger anglers might well think that was quite uneccesary.

And 'ridiculous' price tags are only ridiculous to those who either can't afford them or do not wish to have them. Like Rolls Royces or huge diamonds.

What we know for sure:

Trump talked about it.

Clinton actually did it. In the Oval Office. With multiple women.

Trump didn't just talk about, he said that he did it. In law that would be a confession.
Surely you're not suggesting that he is a liar as well

Well went for Daves' suggestion in the end. Arrived today and first impressions are good.

I opted fro the 8X magnification but to be honest there is no identifying marks on it anywhere so it could just as easily be the 5X they have sent me and I wouldn't be any the wiser, just £3 worse off.

Looks the business thou.

yes, he used to use green and marine halibut 50/50 but has swapped to method, tbh I find it possibly a bit too sticky but I have 8 or so bags to use

Great info thanks, would you tell us how you wet the mix, Im thinking its quite dry? so adding water may be difficult, any idea of the water ratio please.

not at all, its wetter than youd think!
blue preston one pint bait tubs, one of each and just under one tub of water, leave to stand while you set your stuff up and then riddle (don't use a drill! noisy as hell and I got a telling off for using a drill by the man himself!) youll know if its right as you have to poke groundbait off after five mins in the drink!

you want the groundbait ball to stay on the method, a dry mix would come off too soon, in nicks words, you want to mick the fish off, so they have to attack the method to get bait off which also includes your hook aswell with hook bait, its a smaller target than a dry mix which will come off the method and create an area of bait for the fish to attack, but not nesc. be near your hook bait!

Ignore the carp designation - I use mine for everything.

Six top kits so plenty of scope for using different elastics - all come ready slotted for side pullers if you find them necessary. I did initially but took a couple out.

It's not the lightest pole I've ever owned but it's not stupidly heavy and since I prefer a pole with decent wall thickness ('cos I'm a clumsy bugger) it suits me fine.

Simon

Looks good Simon. Can I ask is the pole responsive at 13m? Not expecting any miracles at the price but need to be able to hit lightning fast bites at that distance.

Also how do the power kits affect the pole? There doesn't seem to be a match kit available for it

Like the picture, nice to know that there is at least one person in the entire universe that
has nobblier knees than me! Seriously the tank aerial was a useful introduction to many a young

I am going to try and find my early photos and post them, the quality is not good but
so what.

Side Puller for Map Lumphammer Pole

A mate fitted the maver muletto bung with his side puller for the tops of his middy m3 margin pole - that way the pull is still taken centrally by the bung and wheel before coming out at the side bush.

ps - the old map lumphammer was a very strong pole indeed and more than capable of taking side pullers with an appropriate extra topkit wrap.

Normally the "job lot" of tackle will sell for less than the total of individual items but there is also the chance of being left with the stuff nobody wants anymore if you split it too much.
