I've just had the same dilemma, but as I've got 20 odd top kits for my departing Tourny Pro I stuck with Daiwa, I got a great price on the Pro X XLS with topkits that I sold off the new topkits and now have a Pro X XLS for a lot less than you can buy the basic pole anywhere..!

I respect people with Faith. Whilst religion is usually accused of murderous schism it's worth bearing in mind that many of the rights and freedoms we enjoy today were fought for by the church

Attempts to put forward alternative theories, like intelligent design for example are more typical of someone putting their fingers in their ears and shouting "I can't hear you!"

And I've read the bible. I didn't find a faith in any God, but it did give me a faith in humanity. Which is why I'm reluctant to dismiss it completely.

Alas not, they are rive clip-one ones. Use different things on different legs depending on the venue as I fish all over...rivers, lakes, fen drains and commercials. Sometimes on the box, sometimes to my side tray, sometimes both sides. Just depends on the peg, trees, obstructions and all that malarky.

Not used anglers world etc for years, book direct and also the ferry. I am lucky with stenna line as l qualify for a good concession through work. But as its been said before you can use tesco vouchers towards the cost of the ferry. When booking direct with accomadation owners directly l have found them only too helpfull to assist.

seats for pole fishing

with reference to which seatbox do you use, which i presume are 99% for pole anglers, but how many use seat/chairs to pole fish with and which ones , i am purely a pleasure angler and use a short pole from my korum lightweight chair at times , but is there specialist chairs out there aimed at the serious pole anglers , also if i looked hard enough there are probably accessories to fit korum chairs to make them pole friendly.

Nice one SeanB, through the blogs this coming year i am hoping to try and show just what is out there, for free, within our towns and cities. i know from bailiffing the canal one huge barrier is lack of people showing how to fish canals and ponds so hopefully showing the how might get more out enjoying fishing for silver fish. Can only try
