I would rather use a seatbox regardless of what method I am using. I find a chair just doesn't feel right now, the seating position is just too far back. The only benefit of the chair approach is if you need to travel light.

If fishing on a seatbox is making your back ache then you need to check that the box is set at the correct height and that you are sitting correctly. Your knees should not be pointing in the same direction as the pole, the pole should rest over both your thighs.

Yup works good.
And if you bend it in steam so that it has a gentle bow you can use it as a lock slider.

Completely agree with SH4DOW, I feel you need to sacrifice length on daiwas to have anything relatively stiff, the map is brilliant at 13-16m but is heavier. If the map spares were trustworthy then I would have had the 901 2g as it is a much better pole and package for me but Daiwa are so reliable and spares readily available

Morning men, this argument can go round and round in circles until you get to the root. Most people
have nothing against anybody but all I ask is that `anybody` are honest and are not a drain on our
country. We should not have to put up with criminals and rubbish from other countries any more than
other countries should have to put up with ours.
If we had a sensible policy based on pragmatism a lot of the racism {which is in most cases actually
resentment} would disappear.

I have just measured the top kits
The 3 Top 2s are 300cm long
The match top 3 is 330cm which is 30 longer
The cupping kit is 270cm long
Has you can see the top 2s are longer than the cup kit does it make sense to cut them back the same length as the cup kit and re bush making them all 270cm long.
If I take the No 1 section out of the match kit it would make it 4cm shorter than the cup kt.
Your advice on which way to go would be appreciated.

I’ve got the Preston pump ( the syringe type)
I think it’s ok pumps the pellets perfectly and doesn’t take up much room !
I also own a cheap one I bought years ago a square thing two pots and one pump with a dodgy release valve...... I tend to use this to be honest it does the job and I can use the base to keep the pellets in when done

But the Preston is spot on
